Our Projects
Market Growth
The telecom tower market is on a robust growth trajectory, with significant expansion expected in the coming years. As the world becomes increasingly connected, the demand for telecom infrastructure is soaring. The market is projected to reach USD 15.34 billion, driven by a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.98% from 2024 to 2028. This growth is a testament to the crucial role telecom towers play in supporting modern communication networks and their expansion.
In 2023, the global telecom tower market size stood at 4.8 million units, reflecting the widespread reliance on these structures for connectivity. Looking ahead, the market is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of 2.1%, reaching 5.9 million units by 2032. This steady increase highlights the continuous demand for telecom towers as essential components in the telecommunications infrastructure.
Key factors propelling the market include the surging penetration of smartphones, which drives the need for expanded network coverage and improved service quality. As more people adopt smartphones and other connected devices, the pressure on telecom networks intensifies, necessitating the deployment of additional towers to meet the growing data and connectivity demands. The expansion of 5G networks further accelerates market growth, with telecom towers playing a pivotal role in supporting this next-generation technology and its high-speed data capabilities.
The rising demand for high-speed data and reliable connectivity is another major driver of market expansion. Consumers and businesses alike are increasingly seeking seamless and fast internet experiences, pushing telecom operators to enhance their infrastructure. This heightened demand underscores the importance of investing in and upgrading telecom towers to ensure that they can support advanced services and meet evolving connectivity needs.
Manufacturing Process
Our meticulous, research-backed manufacturing process ensures durability, safety, and precision in every telecommunication tower we produce. We follow a comprehensive series of steps to guarantee the highest quality and performance standards.
-
Raw Material Procurement
Raw materials are sourced from approved vendors in compliance with the General Technical Provisions (GTP) and Material Quality Plans (MQP), ensuring top-notch quality for telecom tower production.
-
Raw Material Inspection
Materials undergo rigorous inspection by QA/QC teams, assessing chemical, mechanical, and dimensional properties before fabrication begins. This step ensures that only materials meeting our stringent standards are used.
-
Fabrication Work
- Cutting: After QA/QC clearance, raw materials go through cutting operations using hydraulic, power press, and CNC machines.
- Punching & Drilling: Holes may be punched for materials up to 12 mm thick, while thicker materials are drilled. Burrs are removed, and bolt holes must not exceed 1.5 mm over the nominal bolt diameter. Incorrectly positioned holes, over-drilling, or ovality will lead to rejection.
- Welding: Welding is avoided unless necessary and done before galvanising. Welds comply with IS 814 or AWS A5.1 standards, and only qualified welders are permitted. All welds must be free from defects and cleaned of slag.
- Bending: High-strength structural steel is bent hot, while mild steel is bent hot for difficult bends. Hot bends are cooled naturally without quenching, and near splices, the metal is forged smooth.
- Marking/Stamping: After inspection, all members are stamped with identifying marks, matching approved detail drawings, and visible even after galvanisation.
-
Galvanising Process
- Pickling in Caustic Soda Solution: HR coils are immersed in a caustic soda solution to remove impurities and scale from the surface.
- Rinsing in Water House: The coils are thoroughly rinsed in a water house to remove residual caustic soda solution.
- Pickling in Acid Tank: Coils undergo pickling in an acid tank to further clean and prepare the surface for galvanization.
- Degreasing Tank: Fabricated materials are immersed in a degreasing tank to remove impurities and surface scale, preparing them for subsequent treatment.
- Pickling in Acid Tank: Materials are pickled in an acid tank to ensure optimal adhesion of the zinc coating.
- Rinsing in Water Tank: Materials are rinsed in a water tank to neutralise any residual acid, ensuring a clean surface for the next steps.
- Pre-fluxing: A flux solution is applied to the surface of the materials to promote better adhesion of the zinc coating during galvanization.
- Drying in Hot Chamber: Materials are dried in a hot chamber to remove moisture, which ensures the effectiveness of the galvanisation process.
- Hot-Dip Galvanisation in Zinc Bath: The dried materials are immersed in a high-temperature zinc bath, creating a uniform and durable zinc coating for enhanced corrosion resistance.
- Dipping in Quenching Tank: Galvanised materials are cooled in a quenching tank filled with water, solidifying the zinc coating and ensuring its durability.
- Quenching Tank of Dichromate Water: Further passivation occurs in a dichromate water tank to enhance corrosion resistance and improve the surface finish of the galvanised materials.
- Finishing: The final inspection is conducted to ensure quality, and the materials are trimmed to the desired dimensions before bundling and dispatch.
